CIIWA was crafted from the will and the ambition of the students attending the 4th Edition of the Post-Graduate Course in Information Warfare / Competitive Intelligence that longed to create an Association that would develop those themes from Portugal to the World.
 

The creation of the Competitive Intelligence and Information Warfare Association was based upon the following goals:

• To contribute to the promotion of all themes related with Competitive Intelligence and Information Warfare;

• To support companies in the development of those themes;

• To develop training and awareness activities in these areas so as to embrace a larger societal participation.

Adopting the principles of open-mindness and independence, the Association has succeeded in gathering numerous individualities, from the most diverse origin, empowering the perspective of a future capacity to encompass other agents, they too interested in these subjects.
